Ioneer’s core mission is to develop a U.S. based source of lithium and boron that can be extracted in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, providing two materials that are essential to achieve a sustainable future for our planet.

Clear Path to Production

Advancing the fully permitted and shovel-ready Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron project will provide urgently needed materials essential for everyday products used today, and the technologies necessary for a more sustainable future.

Rhyolite Ridge will supply two U.S.-designated critical minerals used in military applications (e.g., body armor and permanent magnets), batteries (including stationary storage and vehicles), and semiconductors—strengthening the U.S. supply chain, reducing reliance on foreign sources, and supporting national security.

Given the global importance of lithium and boron and the U.S. push to onshore critical mineral production, it is significant that Rhyolite Ridge will mine and process both minerals into final products onsite in Nevada.
