Scholarship Program

The Ioneer Sustainable World Scholarship has been established to invest in our future by supporting Tonopah High School, Esmeralda County Virtual High School, or Mineral County High School students who are pursuing higher education in Engineering, Science and/or Mining and who share ioneer’s goal of developing materials and solutions that are necessary for a sustainable and thriving world.

Ioneer awards scholarships based on a comprehensive process.

Areas that are reviewed by the committee include but are not limited to the following items: academic accomplishments, community service and future educational goals. ioneer will pay scholarship funds to the school the student will attend or is attending.

The Ioneer Sustainable World Scholarship is awarded without regard to race, color, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. Two recipients will be awarded scholarships annually. Monies may be applied to tuition fees or room & board. Award winners may reapply for this scholarship up to four times.

The deadline for the 2023 Scholarship Period is now CLOSED and awardees have been notified.

For students graduating in 2024, the application window will reopen in January, 2024.
